By engaging the services of Some Beach Travel (“Advisor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Client”) acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all travel planning services provided by Some Beach Travel, whether booked directly by the Advisor or by the Client with Advisor assistance.
1. Role of the Travel Advisor
Some Beach Travel acts solely as a travel planning advisor and intermediary. We do not own, operate, or control any airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, transportation providers, or other travel suppliers.
All reservations are subject to the terms, conditions, and policies of the individual suppliers, including but not limited to cancellation policies, refund policies, and change fees.
2. Scope of Services
Our services may include, but are not limited to:
- Destination research and recommendations
- Custom itinerary design
- Booking coordination with third-party suppliers
- Communication with suppliers on your behalf
- Pre-travel support and guidance
We do not guarantee pricing, availability, specific room assignments, upgrades, views, bedding, or amenities unless explicitly confirmed in writing by the supplier.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Reviewing all documents, confirmations, and itineraries promptly
- Verifying accuracy of traveler names, dates, and details
- Ensuring passports, visas, vaccinations, and entry requirements are met
- Understanding and accepting supplier cancellation and change policies
Failure to review documentation does not absolve the Client of responsibility for errors or penalties.
4. Pricing, Payments, and Fees
Pricing is subject to change until confirmed and ticketed. Some Beach Travel does not control supplier pricing, promotions, or fare rules.
Planning fees, if applicable, are non-refundable once planning work has begun.
All payments are subject to the supplier’s terms and conditions. Refunds, if any, are governed solely by the supplier’s policies.
5. Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds
Some Beach Travel is not responsible for penalties, fees, or losses incurred due to:
- Client-initiated cancellations or changes
- Supplier cancellations or modifications
- Force majeure events (weather, strikes, illness, government actions, etc.)
We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect your investment.
6. Travel Insurance Recommendation
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all trips. This may include coverage for trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, evacuation, and supplier default.
If the Client declines travel insurance, they assume full financial responsibility for any losses incurred.
7. Destination Weddings & Group Travel
Destination weddings and group travel require additional coordination and time. Some Beach Travel accepts a limited number of destination weddings per year.
Planning services for destination weddings and group travel may require additional agreements, timelines, or fees. Availability is not guaranteed.
8. Changes During Travel
While traveling, Some Beach Travel may assist with supplier communication as a courtesy. However, we cannot guarantee immediate resolution, availability, or outcomes once travel has commenced.
Supplier decisions are final.
9. Force Majeure
Some Beach Travel is not liable for delays, changes, or losses caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Weather
- Natural disasters
- Pandemics or health emergencies
- Government restrictions
- Supplier insolvency
10. Limitation of Liability
Some Beach Travel shall not be liable for:
- Acts or omissions of third-party suppliers
- Injury, illness, death, loss, damage, or inconvenience
- Additional expenses incurred due to supplier actions or failures
By engaging our services, the Client agrees to hold Some Beach Travel harmless from all claims arising from travel arrangements.
11. Client Conduct & Fit
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services if:
- The Client is unresponsive, abusive, or unreasonable
- Expectations fall outside the scope of our services
- The trip is not a good fit for our planning approach
In such cases, any earned planning fees remain non-refundable.
12. Referrals & Testimonials
Client testimonials, reviews, and referrals may be used for marketing purposes unless the Client requests otherwise in writing.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the state in which Some Beach Travel is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14. Acceptance of Terms
Engaging the services of Some Beach Travel, submitting an inquiry, approving a proposal, or making payment constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
